Because I've seen people with gif profile pics and I want to know how you do it, because I guess just using it from your images doesn't work

You can either download an animated gif and upload it or link to one.
It's the same difference either way. It's just a file type so how you submit it doesn't matter.

I do wish there was an option to disable GIF avatars. I know you can disable avatars completely, but I sometimes identify the user with their profile picture.
It's a minor distraction, but would be a nice feature.

Catman uses Ad Block Plus but does not see the option to block individual images when right-clicking. I use it too and it just worked for me...
