I hadn't noticed, either. But, if that is trending, I wonder if there might be something about the structure of thicker rims, that reduces the "steaming," of the lens, while wearing a mask. That would be practical, rather than fashionable. I wear over-the-counter reading glasses, and have several styles. I just tested the theory, without any noticeable difference. But, it's the only thing that popped to mind. OR ... maybe, we're heading back to the '60s.
