Sequel has to hit $1 billion now that this one has done more than adequately.
It’s still being pretty well received, so a sequel should hit $1 billion with ease.
The real question is - assuming the second one is just as well-liked - what could a third one do? We could see it do the numbers TDKR was unable to hit due to the tragic mass shooting on its opening weekend.

But is it a better movie than Batman Begins?
Making more money, don`t necessarily mean its a better movie.

It’s made more money domestically than BvS and Joker, so I’ll take that as a win, but considering how insanely well Joker did overseas, some part of me was hoping for a repeat of that. Seriously, what is it about Joker that foreign audiences gravitated so much to?
