Sources: Lakers agree to deal Lou Williams to Rockets for Corey Brewer, pickThe Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to trade sixth-man Lou Williams to the Houston Rockets in exchange for swingman Corey Brewer and a first-round pick, sources told ESPN, confirming multiple reports. Williams is having the best season of his 12-year career, with highs in points (18.6 per game) and 3-point field goal percentage (.385). The 30-year-old veteran thanked the city of Los Angeles in a tweet Tuesday evening.
In a 10-year career with the Timberwolves, Mavericks, Nuggets and Rockets, Brewer, 30, has averaged 9.4 points and 1.3 steals in 24.3 minutes per game. He is averaging 4.2 points in 58 games this season.

We did needed to get rid of Brewer. I mean no ill-will but Brewer has been extremely bad this season. Nobody ever bothered to guard him and he used to get uncontested shots and yet he would miss his 3s.
I have not followed Lakers closely so can't comment if Lou Williams could of any value or not. But I hope so. Rockets have been deteriorating since beginning of this year and i am afraid things might not improve again. Our defense is terrible.

So will he backup both guard spots, and Gordon fill in for both wing spots? How will they get enough minutes for Gordon and Williams when they both backup Harden? Or maybe they will reduce the minutes a little and keep them fresher?

They are loaded with guards. I expect K.J. McDaniels to move within hours.
