Watched the third episode. It’s just a really bad show. Not sure what they could even do to fix it at this point.

Nah, I’m kidding. I was talking to some co-workers today who said it’s literally the worst Star Wars content ever made. I might have to watch it out of curiosity.
Obi-Wan is alright. It's not great, but I like it better than The Book of Boba Fett already and I'm curious to see where it goes. Episode 3 has been the best so far; Darth Vader's characterization is spot on. The girl playing Leia isn't the best child actor I've seen, but she isn't as bad as the child actors TV shows usually get.
I'd like Star Wars to focus more on original characters as opposed to preestablished ones. In fact, I'd like them to get away from the original trilogy and the empire. I'd like to see a series set hundreds of years after episode IX in a time and place where they can do whatever they want without restrictions.
10 year olds aren't particularly interesting anyway. At least child Luke didn't talk.
I didn't like the third episode as much as the first two. They went for spectacle over substance with the Vader sequence. It worked for Rogue One's ending but here it felt forced (same way in Darth Maul being alive and igniting his lightsaber in Solo). Also it hurts the Obi-Wan/Vader encounter in A New Hope.
Obi-Wan bowing down to the Stormtroopers was weird...Ben, you know the Force! Use it and pull the blasters out of the Stormtroopers' hands! What are you doing?! At least use your lightsaber that the camera emphasized you had earlier in the show. You can deflect blaster fire with it! It really annoys me when writers have characters behave nonsensically. I did like the Stormtrooper banter before that whole action sequence.
Indira Varma did a good job. I thought she fit in Star Wars well.
The mask on the actor playing the alien that Obi-Wan/Leia caught a ride from wasn't good. The mouth didn't move well when the actor spoke. Took me out of the scene.

Not sure I’d go that far, but it’s definitely one of the (if not *the*) lamest of any Star Wars property.
Such a generic story and generic craftsmanship with characters that range from aggressively annoying to (you guessed it) painfully generic. Very disappointing.
I’m rewatching it now. That red beam laser wall at the checkpoint? They literally could have walked around it. It was bizarre that he bothered trying to shut it down.
Another problem with the Vader sequence is him being unable to feel Luke presence on Tatooine. He could feel Luke in the vastness of space in Empire Strikes Back, but he can't feel him on the same planet he's currently on...? Ridiculous.
The down-and-out, homeless Clonetrooper was a nice touch. I did like that.

This made me wish we got a movie or a series set after Revenge of the Sith that is all about Vader hunting down Jedi survivors. That scene where he kills the townsfolk was dope as fuck.
Fuck the Obi-Wan babysitting Leia plot they're doing.

This show is extra disappointing because this is the show we all wanted. Everyone asked for an Obi-Wan movie or series. We've been waiting for this. Now we're half way in and the dude literally hasn't done a single badass thing. He's used his lightsaber once and got his ass kicked. We're running out of time for this show to redeem itself.

It's not what I wanted but it's better than I expected. One of my complaints when this project was announced is that Obi-Wan can't do much. Canon wise, he has to lay low and become "Old Ben" as the Jedi slip into myth/legend (it's believed Darth Vader is the last of their ancient religion by the time of A New Hope). It doesn't leave the door open for very exciting story telling with the character.

I see it like a slow burn like Unforgiven. Obi-Wan thinks he’s quit what he used to be, but it will all come back at the end.
-Ben being out of touch with the force is a plot point. You might not like that plot point, which is totally fair, but it's not like the filmmakers just forgot he's a Jedi or something. And there's no doubt it's setting up an arc where he comes back swinging.
-I think Vader let Obi-Wan get away on purpose, "thrill of the hunt" and all that. And Obi-Wan being so weak now, Vader probably thinks he won't get far. That's just my interpretation, though.
-I was skeptical about having the two meet again between trilogies, but I guess it makes sense. It's always been a criticism that the scene where they meet in ANH as bitter rivals doesn't really mesh with their emotional and tragic final scene together in RotS.
That said, it's....still not a good show. The acting outside McGregor is weak (some weaker than others), and the direction is plain shoddy. That scene where little Leia (who is clearly younger than 10) scurries away from the fully grown hunters while they trip and fall like teenage camp counselors in a Friday the 13th movie shall go down as an all time So Bad It's Good scene. Sl
Speaking of Leia, I guess we can add her "Help Me, Obi-Wan" message to the list of things from ANH that no longer make any sense. If she personally knows the guy and had her own private adventure with him, why formally introduce herself and how he "served her father during the Clone Wars"? How about "remember that time you saved my life?"
Shocked anyone could call the third episode weaker than the first two. As per Rogue One, it's a boring tale full of uninteresting people that only wakes you up when Vader pops in to kick some ass. Not high art, but hard to fuck up. At least now I'm engaged.
