As much as I love TDK trilogy and The Batman I think it would be a lot of fun to one day see this character return in a franchise that re-embraces the campiness. I don’t mean campy as in Schumaker’s Batman and Robin, but campy in a way that actually has artistic integrity. I’d imagine something very surreal and colorful (classic silver age costumes, gaudy sets) but with a dark thematic edge to it… something like Clockwork Orange meets Adam West. Or, just a return to Burton’s style would be rad.

I think if it was done in the style of the John Wick movies but still embraced the fantastical comic-book elements, it would do gangbusters.

Maybe if it’s directed by someone like Barry Sonnenfeld.

I'd like a Batman film that embraces the fantasy elements of the comics. Similar to the Arkham Games.

They gave us those "Return of the Caped Crusaders" animated movies with Adam West and Julie Newmar a few years ago and they were great. I say do it live action.

Probably not, though as has been mentioned, I did like the campy animated features from a couple years ago. It's hard to see it in a full length live action movie though. An advantage (in my opinion) DC (sometimes) has over Marvel is knowing when to keep it animated and keep it straight to video.
