Definitely more of an autopsy than an anniversary. I've never seen it, but I know of its infamous reputation. I've been tempted to see it just to find out how bad it is. I know Siskel and Ebert have been some of the few critics to like the movie. Leonard Maltin Movie Guide Review: Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997) - BOMB out of 4 stars"Mind-numbingly stupid action yarn opens with a chase scene that makes no sense, and never improves. Bullock (whose character here is especially annoying) agrees to go on a Caribbean cruise with boyfriend Patric, an L.A.P.D. officer. When madman Dafoe takes control of the ship, Patric feels it's his duty to try and stop him. Did anyone read the script before signing on for this one? Panavision."

I never did see that one. That review is hilarious, though.

Awful sequel. But I guess that’s what they get for basing the plot off a dream Jan de Bont had.

The first half is just awful. The second half where all the action starts though isn’t the worst thing in the world and has a few entertaining action scenes and Dafoe is fun as the bad guy. Still nothing I’d really watch unless you have nothing better to do and definitely a poor sequel to the original classic
Cool to see The Green Goblin and Jango Fett in this though
