Would you agree that the nes version of this is actually better?
Because, in this version of it; The arcade version, they make it too hard to climb upward. It's actually a slow progress to make you go up. And when you finally do, anything can make you decline and make you go downward.
It's hard to explain. Basically, you have to press the climb button too many times to go up in this game. And if you hit anything above you, you will likely go down to your death easily.
In the nes version, it is just overall more fair. The machanics of it I mean. Because for one thing it has one button that makes you ascend faster.
I would say this arcade version of this game, is similar to the arcade versions of outrun: Because even if you know what you're doing, it's still unfairly hard:
In this game even if you know what you're doing, the mechanics of this game will make you die one way or another. In outrun, everytime you go around a corner there's always other cars around you that there's no clear way to avoid.
And even if you do avoid them, that's just leading you up to a next corner in the game that's designed to make you crash and what not.
