Not that old myself but I don't have to worry about pains in my feet in regards to growth spurts as much now.

Most of all that my youth wasn't spent in this 21st century of rot & angst. Too soon?!?
Albeit I do see youth today not overly fazed, as this is their normal & they don't know any different world.
I'd have to bet this sounds the same for every gen you asked in the history of western civilization. Still, seeing 20 somethings spend half their decade in COVID land those are years they will never again get back.

Since my teen years, every decade for me has been better than the one that preceded it. As I've gotten older, I've become more comfortable in my own skin, much stronger and more self-assured, and I've become quite proud of the fact that I'm not just following the crowd. I know too many people who peaked in High School, and they've been going downhill ever since. I'm the opposite. For me, life is a journey of discovery, to better understand myself and the world around me. I will never stop learning and growing, and staying curious. I'm thankful for everything I've been through, both good and bad. Every day is a lesson, where we can find either wonder or wisdom. All we need to do is pay attention.

Mine were always in the ribs, all of a sudden there'd be these sudden stabbing pains that I couldn't move or even breathe except to scream.

Not having to be a caregiver any longer. When my mom passed, nova, the days seemed so long like I'd never fill the hours. Now I wonder how I took care of her and my daughter. Are your hours pretty full too? |

They sure have been in the summer, in the winter time dragged on longer because it's cold, it's dark, there's nothing growing outside, there's very little to go out and do, it was nice. I've never been much of a winter person past Christmas, but anymore I look forward to winter because it's the only time we really have time to actually do stuff, I want a nice long winter with a lot of snow.

Are your hours pretty full too? That's a loving, and heavy calling, Enigma. I helped my Mom, with my Dad. And, took on the full authority with my Mom ... although she was in a nursing home. I think of you, often.
