No. Catman is perfectly capable of wearing holes into his jeans on his own should he chose to do so.

I had a pile of jeans with holes in them like that image .... I gave them to a fabric re-cycler .. turns out they were worth a small fortune in the re-sale shop. Those rags are fashion ...

How did you pick your user name? I would not wear a kilt I am from Norway Well i was looking for a username and for some reason i was looking at the list of Archbishop of Canterbury (don`t know why) and i saw for 832 the name Feologild and i think its a cool name so i picked it. And than i decided that i should give Feologild a surname. and i decided to look at surname of Anglo-saxon origin and came over the surname Oakes, and i put Feologild and Oakes togheter and i thought Oakes was a perfect surname for Feologild and that is how i picked my username Feologild Oakes.

I have bought jeans intentionally marked with little fade spots but not ones with ripped/worn-out holes.

No. I get holes in jeans the old fashioned way. I wear them a lot.
I do have a couple of pairs that have places where the denim so thin that they're tantamount to the beginning of holes. I'll wear those around the house/neighborhood. Even an actual hole is OK, if it's tiny. But, I wouldn't go so far as to wear missing knees, or large patches of shredding.
I think that "style" should be subtle ... not blatant.

So if I have a pair that works, I wear them thread thin!! BTW we were at 115. How hot did you get??

But, I do like the skinny legs. My neighborhood got into the low 90's, yesterday. I'm in the Richmond district, very close to the Presidio. So, even on hot days, we get some breeze from the ocean, and from the waters of the Golden Gate. I was happy to see the fog this morning, but it has burned off. Maybe later today. We're in the mid-70's now. 115 ... WOW!
