in almost every non-diet version of things now?
I mean, There's aspartame, neotame, Sucralose (AKA splenda) and Acesulfame Potassium/Ace-K in almost every non-diet beverage item now
Almost every hot cocoa has Sucralose and/or Acesulfame Potassium in it.
Sunny Delight now has Sucralose, Neotame and Acesulfame Potassium in it. Hawaiian Punch has sucralose in it. The powdered version has aspartame and acesulfame potassium in it
Faygo sodas and their sister company Shasta also uses sucralose in their non-diets
The Mountain Dew Game Fuels changed their formula fall 2016 and added Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium. their "Kickstart" energy drink has those 2 in it as well
Even The bread company Thomas uses Sucralose in their english muffins, bagels, etc.
just to name a few
This is getting ridiculous.

I really hate artificial sweeteners. I'd much rather have real sugar, it tastes much better.

YEAH it's getting on my last nerve. it's hard to come across a non-diet beverage product these days that doesn't contain an artificial sweetener

Yea, I noticed that about Faygo. Thought it was strange, they have good flavors but they got too much junk to bother with them. I'm even getting tired of stevia, though I know it is "natural" (actually Reb A is an extract of stevia), but it tastes powdery and bad IMO. A lot of light juices (like light tart cherry) will use it and Coke Life, for example, is a soda that uses it. I used to like the zevia sodas, but I can tell it's actually the alcohol sugar erythritol I liked.

Zevia doesn't use erythritol anymore. but I'm not bothered by the change I can handle the taste of all these artificial sweeteners. it's their side effects I can't handle

If you want soda that uses real sugar instead of whatever crap they're using now to make it, try the Coke from Mexico. It comes in glass bottles that are somewhat taller & thinner than the glass bottle manufactured here, & rather than using corn syrup & other nasty additives, they use real sugar. Believe me, you will definitely notice the difference. One drawback, though, is the price, but it's well worth it.

People like seeing 0g of sugar on the nutrition label, so it MUST be healthy right? All sugar and artificial sweeteners are poison for the body even in moderate amounts. Best thing I ever did for myself was to stop eating sugar regularly and find ways to keep it out of my diet.
