What did you think?
I wish they told stories from the heros later years… this felt more like an origin story, which I think we should get only After we get familiar with the protagonist and his heroism and achievements..

Apparently the original title was 'Warrior of God'. I like that better than the generic-ass 'Medieval'.

I was suspicious when it didn't show his face at the end
So Wikipedia I looked him up after seeing the film Tuesday.
It was worth the $5 ticket. Maybe dragged in places. But he was an incredible dude. Died of plague

Of the last 3 movies I saw, I think k I enjoyed this best. Barbarian was disjointed. See How the Run tried too hard to be clever, though I enjoyed it. It took a minute to get going. Brody was excellent as the asshole American

Brody was excellent as the asshole AmericanWas it like a variation of his character in The Grand Budapest Hotel? I only saw that one once when it first came out. I have been meaning to see it again. In this - The movie is the Agatha Christie story The Mousetrap is a successful play in England-100 performances completed. It's due to be made into a movie. Brody plays the American director who will be in charge who wants to change everything. He thinks all women will sleep with him if he offers them silk stockings like during the war. (It is set in 1953 or 54). Loud, opinionated, boorish lout. He narrates the opening expressing his low opinion of murder mysteries where the most unlikable obnoxious character is offed & the suspects are gathered to discover who done it. He is that unlikable, obnoxious character. Very over-the-top. His opinion is all that matters. So while he is the victim & dead early we of course see him in flashbacks. I felt he stole the show, but Ronan is very good as the female constable in place purely as a PR move.
