My late beautiful precious Billy Joe Royal is actually no stranger to singing what was done by another singer first. The following are what I love to hear him cover. God bless you and his family always!!! Holly P.S. Why so many songs were covered, I have no idea. I do know that a few of his songs were covered by other singers so maybe his covering so many was his way to retaliate. By the way, these ten songs are not the only songs that Billy Joe covered. There may be has many as 40 others. I love his thoroughness.  |

Peter Gabriel's 'In Your Eyes' covered by Nancy Wilson (Heart).
Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' covered by The Warning. These are three sisters from Mexico, ages 14, 12 and 9 at the time. It's not better than the original, but it's pretty impressive.
