I have never had my order screwed up. While I can't say never, it's probably been only a handful of times in my lifetime that I've had food orders screwed up in more than just a minor way..... SAVE FERRIS

Usually whenever they put extra toppings on my burger that I didn't ask for. I did have one rare instance where I didn't have the meat in my burger, from Wendy's I believe.

Moreover, did you think of calling the situation to the attention of management, as opposed to crying? A few months ago, a take-out sandwich shop opened, near me. I was anxious to try their Reuben Sandwich. I t was awful. There was one thin slice of pastrami ... a bit of cheese ... and the sauerkraut, which was said to be "tangy," was revoltingly flavored with "who knows?" My response? Don't go back!

No, not that bad. Around here a lot of Long John Silvers and KFCs share a building/kitchen. Ordered the family fish pack with green beans and KFC secret recipe fries as the sides. Got home to find cole slaw instead of the fries. Those are the best fast food fries around too. Worst was from Victor's Taco Shop. Their red chili wet burrito has always only been stuffed with shredded beef. Their green chili wet burrito only stuffed with chunked pork. Got home and opened the box and my burruto was smothered in red chili sauce and cheese. Took a bite and it tasted..strange. Took another bite and dug around with my fork to discover chunked pork inside.
Their buritos/portions are HUGE, and real Tex Mex food, but they have raised their prices on most things by $2 and the service has went steadily downhill.

Hang on a sec. If it was from Subway, don’t you, as a customer, watch them as they make it? 🤔

Not really a screw up. One time, me and my wife stopped at a local convenience store for a sub. We ordered the sandwiches. The girl took our order, went back, blew her nose and them proceeded to grab out rolls. notice the fact that she didn't wash her hands. I'm not germaphobic but I told her to cancel the order and we left. Ewww
Another fun experience. Me, the aforementioned missus and my daughter, who was 12 stopped at a Dairy Queen. We ordered and went to sit in the empty dining area. A young kid, an employee just showing for work, came in and started regaling the girls at the counter about the size of his manhood, in not so nice terms. I listened for about 20 seconds, went around the corner and yelled "Yo, John Holmes. I have a 12 year old girl sitting here. Can you lay off the penis talk?". He came over to apologize, the counter girls apologized and the manager apologized and gave us a shitload of free Blizzard coupons. He didn't see us and I'm sure he wouldn't have gone on about his equipment if he had seen us.

If it happened, I don't remember. Most of my incorrect orders have benefited me.

Seeing all the McDonald's mistakes, I'm amazed you all don't do what I do. I've never had a meatless Big Mac, but I've had plenty of drive-through mistakes. So I always check my stuff before I leave. I hate mustard and I loathe onions so I always heck to make sure my burgers are onion free.

The burgers without the meat remind me of this one time when I went out with my brother and his family. My niece must have been about seven at the time, and a very picky eater. She liked her burgers plain - no mustard, no ketchup, no lettuce, no tomato. So my brother ordered a burger for her from the kids menu but stressed "nothing on it, just the cheese". When she heard that, she added "and the meat!".
One thing that fast food places often get wrong is the ice on my drinks. I always ask "no ice" but that's often just ignored. Other than that, I can't recall an order being screwed up very badly.

Since the three of us--my sister, my husband, and I--all have a problem with dairy, the usual screw-ups have resulted from the cook/server forgetting to leave off the cheese, the butter, or whatever originated in a cow. However, the most spectacular mistake I can remember was when the waitress brought us this humongous platter called "The Works" which none of us had ordered (I, for one, had not even noticed it on the menu) and swore up and down that we had indeed ordered that entree (or maybe it was an appetizer sampler; I'm not sure)--which was absolutely not true. For one thing, a couple of the items on that platter obviously contained cheese...so why would we have ordered something we couldn't eat? She kept insisting we'd ordered it, and when we continued our denials, she stormed off and brought back the manager. I can't say for sure that he believed us--though why would we lie?--but at least he didn't throw us out.
To this day, all of us wonder what happened, and how she could make such a mistake--and then keep insisting that we had ordered that platter. It was weird--and pretty upsetting, too.

I once ordered chicken parmigiana and it arrived raw. I mean COMPLETELY raw. I had cut into it and was chewing a piece when I made this discovery. I sort of lost my appetite after that.
