I don’t even hate the movie. I do however think it’s extremely pathetic to make up random stuff that isn’t even in the movie to defend it. Maybe you should put down the shovel or you’ll never get out of the hole. It's right there in the movie, or do you need a big awkward exposition infodump? It’s NOT in the movie. Everybody here sees that but you. Keep digging though. This is most amusing.

Had they cut out the Dying Jane bit and put back in Loki as the "love/hate" interest, this movie could have worked with little changing the script. The Jane-Thor match up never worked. As for the comedy, there wasn't enough of it that was funny...other than the screaming goats.

The power-up effect was the same color as the Thunderbolt's energies and not Thors? Yes
Its because of the Thunderbolt. Or do you need them to stop and explain it in an awkward exposition infodump?

While it can be inferred that it's the thunderbolt that does it, it still needs to be explained. No infodump needed, he could've had a single line of dialog about the thunderbolt allowing him to spread his power, or something as vague as it being more versatile than even Stormbreaker. Something, anything to explain it beforehand. And he clearly knew it was possible, so why not assemble a group of Asgardians to come with him instead of waiting until he got there and expecting a bunch of children to carry the day?! It's just dumb all around. By your logic, literally anything can happen in a movie and you'd argue it makes perfect sense, simply because it happened. "Of course Thor can take his head off and use it as a bowling ball to take down opponents and then reattach it to his body. It's right there on screen."

Bringing in random powers in the third act without any set up at all is literally the worst sin you can commit in this type of story. It’s actually the best example of how poorly written this script was.

Seriously, you just can't accept there's reasoning for why Thor did that because you just have it too embedded that "Love and Thunder is 100% bad".
That's sad.

Not sure. Some parts of it, like the Bao God. Mostly I think Thor and the MCU movies need to be funny. Going it serious is really ambitious. Trying to be serious with these characters is pretentious.
I would have taken out the Bao and at least the latter instance on the board of Thor's hammer being jealous. Maybe Thor struggling for balance on the roller blades too.
The problem I see with Thor 4 really is that there's not much for him to do. I don't think they could pull off an Iron Man or Captain America movie today either, at least with the same actors. Thor seems done to me.

Whoops. Forgot to put you on ignore. Doing it now. So long, wacko!

The comedy was just misplaced....
The scene where Thor rides the hammer like the Wicked Witch of The West was funny... I laughed out loud... but, it shouldn't be in this movie... That more like a SNL skit joke.
The stakes definitely needed to be upped. A little more god-butchering would have been nice.... Also show us the death of some gods that didn't prove Gorr right.... All of the gods were kinda dicks. Show us why he needed to be stopped.
Also... I like the character, but...Korg should have died at his dismantlement... It was just goofy for him to exist as a face.
Also also... complete waste of Eternity as a Marvel cosmic being.

It was seriously disappointing to see this movie turn him into a glorified wishing well. Such a waste

Yes, I think it would be improved by removing a chunk of the "humor".
