I don’t think you need churches or prayer to necessarily be considered a religion. Just a devotion combined with a collective suspension of logic, in this case that the denial of legitimate criticism of the MCU. But TBF Marveltardism probably saw it’s zenith at around 2019. At the very least it could be considered a cult if not a religion.
