I was thinking at the time that it was pretty damn goofy. But at the same time I could absolutely get on board for a really bizzare comic booky Avengers movie where Majors plays dozens of off the wall over the top variants. Could be really silly or could be really fun. Or both at the same time. Depends how it’s done.
What say you?

It's pretty alright. There's only so far pure exposition goes without a visual companion - to declare such an infinite character(s) about to take control of the universe(s).
I do think the MCU needs to stop smashing us over the head with what & how their multi-verse is though - No Way Home, Madness, Quantumania, & tv shows... enough, we get it, now get on with things already.

I hope that doesn’t happen. I like the solo movies to remain mostly solo. There’s rumors Kangs will be the villains of Shang Chi 2. I suppose that’d be okay. Keep him out of F4 and Dr Strange 3 though.

Kang should definitely be the villain in FF and/or Strange 3, instead of being the villain in Shang-Chi. The Rama-Tut variant was his first appearance, and that was in FF.

Strange has so many cool villains and mythology that have been completely neglected. If they do that again for his third movie I’d be so disappointed.

But the direction of the MCU narrative is very much leading up to Secret Wars and Kang. You're right though, they should take a break, especially considering they just did the whole multiverse thing in Strange 2. Let him go in a different direction for now. Reel him back in in a post-credit if you have to, but let the next Strange movie be about something else. FF, I was never a huge fan, so I'm not as concerned with what they do with them. If you introduce them now, you almost have to go the Kang route, though again I suppose you could tie him in in a post-credit after whatever their initial adventure is. Love to see Blastaar or Annihilus on screen. Wouldn't make much sense to start off with the Frightful Four. A supervillain team needs a reason to go after the heroes.

I have found Kang to be very underwhelming as a villain, and none of the variants seen so far convince me any should be seen as much of a threat as Thanos was. I wish Marvel Studios took some inspiration from Earths Mightiest Heroes' iteration of the character - that version was the most effective media presentation adapted from the source in my opinion.

I get what you're saying but Kang would make sense as a Fantastic Four villain since Kang is (comics at least) related to Reed Richards. He would make more sense as a villain for the Fantastic Four than he would for Shang-Chi. I wouldn't mind a Kang variant showing up in Doctor Strange 3 tho.

I would actually be mostly okay if Kang is in F4. Especially since there will be more movies ahead to feature their other villains. I just really want a full dose of Dr Strange mythology in his movie because this is their last chance for it. I really like MoM but they sidelined everything from his source material to do multiverse and Wanda stuff instead.

Hell, just go all the way with the wackiness in FF and use Mole Man.

Yes, Richards is his last name but I dont think it was ever clear or confirmed that he was somehow related to Reed
