How do you come to terms with the fact that you won't see the people you love and do the things you love anymore?

I don't think about it.

Very easily
death is a natural part of life, there is no reason to fear it
There are as far as i see it 3 things that could happen when you die
1. An eternal sleep 2. life after death 3. reaincarnation
I am fine with either one of them being the case, if its eternal slepp i am fine with that, if its life after death and our soul or astral body lives on, i am fine with that, if its reincarnation i am fine with that.

I’ve come to peace with the fact that there will come a day when I can no longer caption photos.

You won't know to despair, not to mention death is ;re-entering' the infinite of your atoms of the universe... which every single person you know will also eventually 'return' one day themselves.
I've noticed the whole YOLO buzz has waned, & probably just as well... we're not going to lament once we no longer exist lols.

I assume everyone gets to a point where mentally and emotionally, they're just done with the world and will be glad to no longer have to go through it.

I sometimes ask myself what will happen to my garden, especially to the big old trees. Will they fall victim to a chain-saw or will they be allowed to live for another fifty years?

Hopefully extreme senile dementia will make that part of dying easier to cope with.

I believe in an eternal life, so I think that I'm going to be reunited with the people I love after I have died. If I'm wrong about that, I can't be conscious of anything and there won't be any regrets.
