The question is, does how you cook red meat make a difference in your odds of getting cancer?
Does having red meat served rare or medium rare increase the chances of getting cancer?
Does having red meat served well done decrease the chances of getting cancer?

Does having red meat served well done decrease the chances of getting cancer? Charring and high temperature are correlated to increased risk. Otherwise the risk is more in the high fat cuts.

I'm not convinced one way or the other. How much is "a Lot"? *My dietary approach has always been along the lines of, "Moderation is your friend."

It seems like everything causes cancer, I eat very little red meat just because I'm never been a big meat eater. I don't eat steak, I like hamburgers, meatloaf and stuffed cabbage rolls or peppers. WKD gets a very small steak once a week, cooked in the George Foreman grill, he likes it well done.

MODERATION IS THE KEY😘 WKM, do you have a weekly menu rotation? Just wondered.

enigma: I have a weekly menu that WKD and I make every Sunday, he likes to know what he eats each day, usually he has steak on Monday, shrimp on Wednesday, pizza & Caesar salad on Fridays and chicken thighs on Sunday (he has a thigh for his lunch the next day). I eat the same food as WKD on Friday, Sat. & Sunday. The rest of the time I eat my big meal at lunchtime (Usually a big salad with stuff in it i.e. blueberries, garbanzo beans, sliced Kalamata olives, etc.) When he comes home from work, I usually have some of the veggies that I serve him. Having a menu is nice because I know what I need from the store. For breakfast he has decaf coffee, a banana and a 1/2 cup of blueberries (except on Sundays when he has an Otis Spunkmeyer muffin). I have a Joseph's mini pita made from flax, oat and wheat with hummus and spinach leaves and some sort of green or herbal tea for breakfast. The Joseph's mini pitas made from flax, oat and wheat is at the top of the list for "bread" for diabetics according to several websites. I'm still just pre diabetic and I hope to stay that way.
