I've had leeks in soup but I have never cooked them myself.

I put them in something, once, but I'm not sure what it was. Probably, leek and potato soup. I do like to make soups. There are many warnings, about rinsing them well to avoid sand/grit. I remember working at that for a long while.

The leeks I have bought at Publix have never needed cleaning. It makes me wonder if they are grown hydroponically or something like that.

Potato soup. I make it once or twice a month.

Bought a long thick one because of this thread. Air fried lengthwise halves, put rings in a stir fry with the usual suspects, tossed the long dark flat ends. Was ok

Make leek and potato soup. Also a great additive in spanakopita or you can make its very OWN pita called prassopita.
