Avalon--Immigrant arrives in Baltimore on July 4th; he thinks the parades, fireworks, etc. are all for him to welcome him to America.

In Frogs (1972), patriarch Ray Milland is celebrating both his birthday and the 4th of July, and refuses to allow anyone to leave his estate despite the fact that his guests keep getting attacked by the local wildlife (the "attacks" are mostly shots of actors running around and looking scared intercut with shots of animals hopping/crawling/flying around normally).
