His Holiness Pope Francis' response to a 20 year old transgender person saying they struggle with their Catholic faith and being transgender.

That explains the Spanish Inquisition, not to mention the 99.9% of people Yahweh he killed with the great flood.
He loves us, but for some reason, Jehovah can't manage MONEY. God always wants more.

Yahweh? Jehovah? I'm Roman Catholic, not Jewish or a Jehovah's Witness.

And you somehow managed to evade the subject at hand: Your pope was responsible for the Spanish Inquisition, and your "God loves us just as we are" goes out the window with the flood that killed 99.9% of the human population. He could'a killed 'em instantly, but I'm sure that drowning was His preferred method of letting 'em know He was pissed. And let's not forget Psalm 137:9

His Holiness Pope Francis' response to a 20 year old transgender person saying they struggle with their Catholic faith and being transgender. AMEN He does love us just as we are... He loves us enough to go to the cross for and to pay for our sin past, present and future... He also loves us enough to tell us we are not to live in ongoing and willful sin and that we are to repent (change directions) and follow Him. Forgiveness of sin is not permission to sin.

They are not names we use for God. Yes They are (though admittedly, JWs are the ones who more commonly refer to God as 'Jehovah,' in more recent times). You might, but Catholics don't... We replace Yahweh or Jehovah with 'The Lord'... God's name is unpronounceable. You will never hear God called Yahweh or Jehovah in a Roman Catholic church.

We can all post links that support what we say... But in the real world do you ever hear God called Yahweh (or Jehovah) in Catholic Mass? I bet you don't. The Lord (Kyrios) yes... Yahweh, nope.

Just because we do not address Him directly as 'Yahweh' does not mean that the Catholic Church acknowledge 'Yahweh' as His Name. Technically, we acknowledge God the Son as 'Yahweh' because the Name Jesus means 'Yahweh (or rather 'Jehovah') Saves.'

Aren't Yahweh and Jehovah alternate names for the God to which you pray They are not names we use for God. Marcia Clark refused to call the defendant "O. J.".
I don't care whether YOU use the names Jehovah or Yahweh. You are implying that they are not God or Lord. So my question to you: Are Yahweh, Jehovah, Lord, God the same being or are you saying they are multiple supreme beings? What about Zeus or Thor? How do you explain how and why the each claim to the the ONLY supreme being?
Like your "Lord", Thor came to earth to find a virgin with the goal to sire another Jesus-like God. He seduced a 17 year old virgin from Majorca without telling her who he was. After the sex was over, Thor thumped his chest yelling, "I'M THOR", to which she confessed, "I'm tho thore I can't pith"
