This director was also a licensed pilot. He once did this in a plane while flying over a golf course during a celebrity tournament. Who was the director, and what did he do?

According to legend Larry Hagman (director of Son of Blob) flew a plane over the Columbia studio lot, though what he allegedly released onto the executive building was not very sanitary.

I don't know why; maybe because these "athletes" take themselves so seriously.

From what I've heard they have a rather nonchalant, humorous approach to the game.

This movie star got a writing credit for the theme song of one of his films. He based the song's tune on a folk lullaby his mother learned in her native country & sang to him as a child. Who was he?

Isaac Hayes? Didn't he base the theme from Shaft on a children's song his mother used to sing to him? ("That muffin man's a baaaaaad mother....").

Close, but no Figgered you'd get this from the birthdays yesterday: And that movie poster (not the movie itself) inspired Bruce Springsteen to write another song with that movie title. Just wanted to mention a fellow Jerseyan.
