some of them are very outspoken regarding their political beliefs with the exception of Kit harington ( jon snow) which i appreciate ,even if i wouldn't agree with his views at least he hasnt offended his fanbase or say stupid aimless things like some of his GOT costars .

What a stupid thing to get offended about. It's not stupid for calling out hypocrisy , especially given with what is going on in the world . Its funny how they keep their mouths closed when its something or someone they support does wrong doing and since they are so vocal and they use their celebrity status and events they attend to push down our throats their beliefs they are open to criticism. When i watch a movie or series i really don't care what the actors beliefs are unless they are into some really bad things however when they use that show or series or their status to spew out hate and turn all activist its a big turn off . Its hard to admire someone's talent when they are so divisive. They really do hate people who dont think like them . I stopped following many of them on social media , they are not worth it , i dont think any of these celebrities care what everyday people care or worry about , they really do live in a bubble . Anyway I'm not looking for a fight I said what i think , its my opinion .

I stopped following many of them on social media , they are not worth it , i dont think any of these celebrities care what everyday people care or worry about , they really do live in a bubble . I don't follow anyone, never did. If I like artists for their art, the chances I would like them for anything else are poor so looking at anything more is looking for disappointment. I seldom find interviews interesting or insightful. Everyone lives in a bubble. I don't expect a factory worker, a free lance author or a politician to have anything pertinent to say about the world at large except that it's round and kind of messy Artists taking political stances is nothing new and yes, it is mostly embarrassing. Young idealistic fools spreading defiance or naivety to younger and dumber than themselves (in the best case). To some extent, it's part of the package. But then, I have no idea who said what, since I'm not looking

I don't care about politics, only what's right and wrong. As long as they are in the right then I don't see the issue.
Several GOT actors should be ashamed for their idiotic takes and disrespecting fans though, like Peter Dinklage and his moronic "pretty white people riding off into the sunset" comment, or the woman who played Sansa bashing fans who hated the shitty finale.

But than about 90% of the things people get offended about in todays world, are stupid things that don't matter.

It seems like the issue is that the things they endorse are not necessarily good for people, and they are hypocritical. They have a "rules for thee, but not for me" attitude which is not fair. Regarding the criticism of the Game of Thrones finale, it's not just Sansa who bashed the fans. I remember reading that several actors from the show said things like "to hell with the fans who criticized the finale. We worked our asses off." However, some of them have since changed their tune and are now more open about stating that they were not happy with the finale. A recent example of this is Emilia Clarke.

I agree, some people get offended by trivial things like protesting a pancake mix/syrup brand and demanding a name change. "I didn't say I was offended. I called them out because they love telling people how to live and what to eat, who to vote for and so on .... Why don't they get their own lives in order first and stick to their jobs, which is to entertain people, not lecture us? They are not mentally fit to advise anyone. Most of them are high on drugs, and the rest of them are in therapy. So, no thank you."

I have to ask - why do you care? Everyone should be allowed their opinion. Why would you have to ask? It's just an opinion too. Or maybe it's one you don't like and those shouldn't be allowed. Self-contradicting turd.

I respect the fact that you have an opinion. I wasn't trying to say you shouldn't have one. Kit Harrington is likely just being smart for taking a non-political stance. Just look at what happened to Noah Schnapp recently or the Dixie Chicks 20 years ago. I just think that actors and their opinions aren't that important.

They are entertainers ,they can have opinions like the rest of us, but they shouldn't use those opinions to divide people even further . when they take a public stance about an issue they demonize people who don't share the same views like them .
