well it's been a little quiet on this board, and being a foodie and a bakery owner/too tired to think of anything else.....person- I found the following for you all to read, and respond if you care to😁😒👿😢
So we're a little over the halfway mark, & I came upon this article on where food trends will be for this glorious year.
Bear in mind it starts where 2022 was leaving off. But I found some of those will continue-like smashed potatoes will forever live on if not in my stomach, in my mind. I thought corn kid was cute from 2022....

Not sure why they focused so much on Gen Z-as a Gen X-I'm perturbed(pissed for you Gen Z or Millionaires...oh sorry Millennials-Who came up with these names???)
-alcohol-down--I'm a Wisconsinite, that will never happen-btw-I don't remember the last time I drank alcohol besides what I put in my baking-but I do live in the most drunk state
-wildflours-wth? this is not new, nor a trend-people have been trying to figure out how to use lavendar for decades--
kidding aside, using it(wildflours) in bread actually has been around for a long time-especially the design aspect of it
-superfoods from the sea-not if the sharks, orcas, seals continue to have a say-plus you know the ocean is not doing too well, if the coral is dying off-everything else kind of goes into a downward spiral
Well I don't want to end this on a sad note-even though seals are darn cute- here is another list that might perk up your appetites:

Yes, who can resist state fair food? WI just had ours, and TG attendance was up again-along with the amount of cream puffs sold-shocked pikachu face right here. Me: I would have gone for our 2023 sporkies winner: Beer Cheese Wisconsin Lava Cake from WürstBar, but I did not go this year. Last year I did go for: Peño Pretzel Popper Brat-2022 sporkie winner-it was delish!
So let's have it folks-first are you a millionaire er millennial, or one of the other great ones, and do you love your state fair food(yes, please tell us what it is, or perhaps what you would invent for your state fair)
