Not long now until this legend is back on our screens. Let's hope it's as good as Dead City or better.

Great turnout. Why is no one discussing this wonderful show? The Pumpkin King where you at brah? Thank you for the tag, Roberto. This series has been pretty awesome if you ask me. I was a bit skeptical when first trying to imagine what this series could do differently that none of the other Walking Dead series have done before it, and it didn't disappoint. Daryl in a completely new environment proves that the Daryl character can carry an entire series by himself with no one else (from the original series). I want to say I like this series more than the other spinoff show, The Walking Dead: Dead City (the Maggie & Negan series). Most definitely.Both of these new shows feel very different from each other, which is a good thing. And both shows do feel like spin off series from the original show, spin off series of the best kind. But for me, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon to me feels a little more like the original series, both with its pacing, plots, and new characters its managed to include. Whereas The Walking Dead: Dead City series feels maybe just a little more forced, in my opinion. Almost like the show is trying to make us believe in this whole new dead-covered city being completely corrupt. I love the character Maggie, I enjoy anything Negan, but it's hard to explain. Something about the Dixon series just feels more natural of a flow when telling a story. For me, it's been a bit more enjoyable to watch. I even feel I could watch the Dixon series over a couple times unlike the Dead City series. Maybe that has a lot to do with the Dixon character himself and how relatable he feels in a post-apocalypse world of any country. Not to mention actor Norman Reedus is selling every scene he's in. Whether it's his ability to fight, his raspy conversations, or the character's care for his fellow man - child - woman. Reedus portrays a real protagonist through-and-through very much like a Rick Grimes character would. Whereas the tension between characters Maggie & Negan on the other show feels a bit more dragged out by now. Dixon's role in this Walking Dead world truly feels a lot more mindful for what's to come next.
And shout out to the characters Isabelle on the Dixon series as well, she rocks. The whole nun thing I didn't think would be so interesting, but it's definitely brought a whole new origin story to the Walking Dead world, and actress Clémence Poésy is killing every one of her scenes she's in. I've seen the actress recently in the movie, The Ones Below. She made the movie just the same as she's doing in this series. I was happy to see her co-starring in this show as the female lead, instantly telling me that this is gonna get good! The actress and her character truly compliments both Reedus and his role as Daryl. She's a breath of fresh dead air, standing next to one of our most beloved characters in Daryl. My favorite episode of this 6-part first season was episode 2, which was the flashback episode of Isabelle and the moment when the outbreak began in Paris. I'll continue to watch both shows, all the way, but I'm definitely a huge fan of the Dixon series without a doubt. I'll never peace out to anything The Walking Dead-related. I have high hopes for where this entire bunch of dead series walk us towards, and this Dixon series definitely should rejuvenate Walking Dead's loyal fans (like me). (;
