I was an adult when that happened. So I thought they were bad. If anyone here was a kid when you saw it. Was your reaction, that the film is good?

I saw the first of the prequels in theaters, and i guess the visuals and the action clicked the most with me. I saw the second prequel in theaters a few years later even though I didn't want to, and the interest I had in Star Wars when I used to watch the original trilogy was resurrected. With this said, I was more than ready to see the last of the prequels in theaters as a teenager. I went with a friend and I was more than satisfied with the end result, as it was basically my favorite movie.

I saw all three in the theater. Thought the first one was bad at the time even as a kid. Second one I liked when it came out, but am rather indifferent to now (I don't think it's as bad as some say, but it's not great). Third I was in the minority of in that I disliked it when it came out and still don't like now.

I saw the first two. My opinion then was the same as now: they have serious problems, but there's still quite a bit there that I like.

I saw them in theaters as an adult. They were good then and they are good now.

I was 14, 17 and (very nearly) 20 when they came out. I thought The Phantom Menace was amazing. I was seriously obsessed with it. I wasn't quite so overawed by the other two but still enjoyed them a lot (and still do to this day).

Saw them as an adult, and my opinions on them haven't really changed. Phantom Menace was mostly a bore, Attack of the Clones started out bad but picked up steam once Obi-Wan went to inspect the clone factory and the final act is a pretty good action movie. Revenge of the Sith is on par with Return of the Jedi, in fact maybe a bit better.

I saw all three at the ages of 9, 12 and 15. Absolutely loved Phantom Menace, was a bit confused about Attack of the Clones. Hated Revenge of the Sith.
Now of course I recognise all three for the failures they are.

TPM - saw in theaters when I was 7. It was my first real introduction to Star Wars. I enjoyed it, mostly for Maul and the podrace.
AotC - despite liking TPM, it didn't leave enough of an impression for me to really want to see this one so I stayed home and eventually saw it when my brother bought the dvd (and even then, it had been sitting there for awhile). I was probably 11 and bored by it.
RotS - I was extrememly hyped to see Anakin become Vader so I saw it in theaters. I was about 13 and loved it enough at the time to sneak in again after Batman Begins.

My brother rented one in 2000 and I watched part of it with him, he had the benefit of seeing the original trilogy, I didn't know anything about the whole franchise, so I thought it was very boring.

I watched the The Phantom Menace at the cinema, it was the first Star Wars movie i watched. I was 16 when watched it 1999. So i have never watched Star Wars as a child. I think the movie is ok.
I was not familiar with Star Wars at all, before i watched that movie. I watched the prequel trilogy before i watched the original trilogy.
The Phantom Menace and Rise Of Skywalker are the only Star Wars movies i have watched at the cinema
