Let me preface this story by saying this:
I 'm about to say exactly one thing that happened, and exactly how I reacted.
Few weeks ago, I saw an interracial couple at the store (which I assume is a common thing for everybody , to see that sort of thing). And I did nothing.
And what it was, it was a black male with a white female. I have to say that, because that's honestly what happened. And I am telling the story accurately.
So now, that I've said something that happened and how I reacted... what do you think about this story?

You did nothing? Good for you. So you should.  I'll add a little anecdote to this: Back when I was going to University, I was renting a room from a family. I must have loved staying there as I stayed there the entire 4 years I was at university! My landlady's hubby was SOOOOO against the idea of interracial dating / marriage. The first 3 years I was there - nothing any of us said would sway his decision. That was - until my folks came up to get me to take me home at the end of my 3rd year. My mother fought him tooth and nail. I honestly thought....he (landlady's hubby) is gonna crack! It didn't happen, though. Joker's Wilde |
