12/1. The band's 5th album, and considered by many, (including Ozzy) to be the last album of Sabbath's prime and the beginning of the end of the original lineup. The drug and alcohol use started to ramp up and so did the tensions within the band. Known for its title track, "Killing Yourself to Live" and "Sabbra Cadabra."

This was my first "metal" album. Never liked the singer much but it didn't matter. It was all about the heavy riffs and the complex, multipart song structures. I soon went on to buy the first album and Paranoid next. I can't say there was anything else like them.
