I find it very hard to belive God would be offended by anything humans says, because God should be far beyond that. its really just humans being offended on behalf of God, i mean why would an all powerful being who created the universe and everything in it, be offended over something humans says. Personally i think God is beyond such things. After all God is not human and therefore should not be offended as easily as humans does. Its so silly when people say "you have offended God" no i did not offend God, i offended you, that is not the same thing. Some people make God out to be some sort of easily offended crybaby, which i don't really understand.

It could be that a god feels from the perspective of low beings as well as high ones. If god isn’t real then who knows what they might think and feel?

Traditionally there are three uniquely religious offenses (acts which cause religious offense) Heresy (wrong choice) means questioning or doubting dogmatic established beliefs Blasphemy (evil-speaking) is the act of insulting or showing contempt for a religious deity. Apostasy (revolt or renunciation) implies or abandoning of a prescribed religious duty, especially disloyalty, sedition and defection Very often 'religious offence' is just religious intolerance. And we all know how that has turned out down the years...

There used to be a time when he didn't allow his followers to eat pork. There was even a few chapters after Exodus that listed rules, like no polyester/cotton blends or working on the Sabbath.
