As far as in the theater goes, it's "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom".

End Of Days, likely. It's become a New Year's Eve tradition.

I have 2020's Dolittle scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 31. Incidentally, that was the last movie I watched in the theater before most of the world shut down.

Guessing it will be one of the LOTRs or Hobbits.

Looks like it was Live Free or Die Hard.
Was going to finish with the 5th movie on my latest rewatch of the franchise, but it was nowhere to stream (not even on Disney+ strangely) and I didn't feel like paying to rent it or anything.

I watched Pee Wee's Big Adventure earlier and now I'm catching up on TV shows, so probably that.

You can always finish off with this instead for Die Hard if you were going through the franchise from beginning to end.:

Two of the four Netflix Wes Anderson shorts based on Roald Dahl’s stories, The Swan and The Rat Catcher.
Last full-length movie I watched in 2023 was Dark Passage (1947), a noir with Bogart and Bacall.
Last movie I watched on the big screen in 2023 was the Québec comedy Sapin$.

Tried to watch Big Jim McClane (1952) with John Wayne. I bought the dvd used and it looked fine but while watching it abruptly stopped around the 40 minute mark. I tried it in 2 different players. Bogus way to end out 2023.

Playing It Cool (2014) Chris Evans plays a screenwriter of rom coms that has never been in love...until now! Too bad she already has a boyfriend. Hilarity ensues.
