Did you ever notice, that going from the 1980's to the 1990's nothing dramatically changed really?
So, if you accept that fact...
Did you also notice that starting in the 21st century things (gradually) dramatically changed and not always for the better? Which sucks for me, as I didn't want that to happen.
In other words the world is a joke.

I don't know, the fall of the Berlin wall was a pretty dramatical change.
I notice that to many people don't know history-

I feel like this could benefit from some specific examples of the major world changes we've seen in the 21st century so we could better gauge what here qualifies from the 80s and 90s. Something I've noticed is people seem to almost universally look back on the past as better than the present, usually by ignoring major problems and blemishes of the past. I see people fondly viewing shows like Leave it to Beaver as if it was a genuine representation of the magical, perfect world of that era, neglecting the fact that it was a sanitized, romanticized imagining of the time rather than an honest and true representation.

I can honestly opine that the 1980s were better than today. I lived in the era and it was more relaxed and friendlier. It wasn’t perfect by any means but the era of Atari was much better than the era of PS5.

Yes. That's because the beginning of the 21'St Century began with the terrorist attack on the WTC by al Qaida. Since then, terrorist cults inspired by Wahhabi philosophy have gotten more & more aggressive & abrupt.

The world may have been better in the past for some individuals.
But if people actually thinks the world overall was so much better in the past, they need to learn some history and take of their nostalgia glassas.
