A-
This one's another with 2 lives in my life... as a kid it was about John Candy making giant pancakes for the 2 youngsters, & now it's about seeing the youthful world through adult eyes.
Some seriously finely aged jokes & one-liners in here. The horror piano segue music, cut right into the house Candy playing the tune on the piano, f'n slayed me this time. 'Melanoma head' was another.
I'd had some Mandela Effects with this forever... the outdoor picnic/campground area with the teens - I swore they'd come back to that place 2-3x in the film. Nope, just the once.
For that Chicagoland neighborhood, Hughes' direction, the score, & final freeze shot trilogy... I'll rank them: 1. Uncle Buck 2. Home Alone 3. Planes, Trains and Automobiles
