Day late...I watched Monday's show. Jada was really good. The scenes with her and Everett were compelling.
But honestly, there has to be more to it than him just cheating on her. Jada is AFRAID of him. What else did he do besides cheat? Cheating is really shitty, but that's not a reason to be afraid of someone.
Also as soon as they starting making some of these cops have lines I knew that chick was up to no good. There's always been some kind of mole on the Salem PD, I don't know why Rafe would be surprised about this.

It looks to be another good week on the show. I just don’t know how I feel about casting the younger versions of Alice and Tom Horton? They’re such iconic characters and I still remember them so well. The actress looks a little like Francis Reid but her voice sounded nothing like her. The actor playing Tom doesn’t resemble Macdonald Carey at all.
I am intrigued with the background of Everett. I wonder how this will play out?

He has to have been violent...there is no other explanation.
Also, did Jada and Stephanie both live in Seattle? Because I just assumed if Everett was cheating on Jada with Stephanie as Stephanie believes, then they were both living in the same city. And I don't think that is where Jada arrived from. This doesn't make sense.
I am reserving judgement on the young Tom and Alice...maybe they will be good. It's hard to tell from the clips.

Well, Wednesday's episode was a delight and I am so glad they included Lucas. All of the flashbacks were lovely and I thought the Young Tom and Alice did a good job. Park set was cheesy as they didn't even attempt to disguise it from how it looks now but I thought it was all nicely done.
I am relieved the ornaments survived the fire!!!

I’ve fallen a week behind on the show so I haven’t seen the episodes yet. I just got through Monday’s episode and the stuff with Everett is pretty interesting. Jada really did a great job in those scenes. I’m glad to have Nicole back but it’s sad to know that she won’t be around much longer.
I’m curious as to who is setting Xander up with Harris’ shooting? I know that the person who shot him was dressed like him. But, how would they know that Xander would be out running that night? I just feel bad for him because you can really tell that he’s trying to be a better man. Unlike Kristen who keeps throwing her slutty self at Brady. I can’t believe how little respect she has for herself to keep begging Brady to take her back. And, of course, she keeps using any opportunity to make Brady feel guilty about their fights in front of Rachel.

Kristen made me sick and then they make Brady look like the bad guy for standing up to her. When he said "you raped my brother!" I gasped! That was intense.
you will find out by the end of the week who is setting up Xander.
I agree with Nicole being back - it's definitely bittersweet.
I liked the scenes near the end of the week with Brady, Theresa and Tate. I felt so bad for Brady.

I loved, loved, loved the tribute episode on Wednesday’s episode. Such a wonderful tribute to Tom and Alice. Even my Mother, who hasn’t watched the show in 30 years, was enjoying it.
Brady, to me, was the performer of the week. Eric has really become the main leading man of DOOL to me. He proves that you don’t have to be part of a super couple in order to be a lead actor in a show. His scenes with Kristen, Marlena and Theresa were just so good. He’s got such depth and emotions as Brady. Makes me so grateful that they never brought Kyle back in the role.

I'm so glad you liked the tribute and that your mom did too! The flashbacks were wonderful! I loved that Lucas was there! It was perfect and so well done. It was a great episode!
I agree about Eric Martsolf. He really is a terrific leading man even when he's not in a romance. I just want Brady to be happy, he has had a rough go lately. But EM does play the drama so well!

I didn’t realize that Bill Hayes had gone blind. I guess that’s why we always saw him sitting in his scenes lately. It was sad to see Maggie and Julie having to support him to stand in the scene in the Horton living room. I really think that the episode is especially important for newer viewers to get an idea of who the Horton family is and their history. I especially applaud Greg Rikaart for his scenes in the episode. He seemed so sentimental and caring. I know that a lot of fans can’t stand him but I think he’s great. I just wish that the pictures at the end of the show didn’t flash by so quickly. They could have extended the episode by a few minutes like they did with the Valentines Day episode. And, what a lovely tribute to Bill Hayes at the end. I’m not looking forward to his character dying on the show. It’ll be so sad. We just lost Victor a little over a year ago. I’m still missing him a lot on the show too.

I didn't know he had gone blind either. You'd have never guessed it. I was sad to see them holding him up as well but I am really pleased he was in the episode. I agree about how important it was to showcase the Horton legacy. I have said before that even though it's fiction, the family legacy is impressive and sentimental.
It's going to be very sad when Doug dies. I am still not over Victor either.
I thought Greg did a nice job also. I like him on the show but yes, some people really do not care for Leo.
