There's no word on whether these are just one-off gigs for the group or a full-on reunion. If it were a full-on reunion, then Kerry King's recent solo band would just be more like a side project than a full-time thing. I am surprised in particular at Tom Araya performing again. Doing a bunch of occasional dates is nothing like spending a life on the road around the world. It's more like taking a holiday from the family life I saw them in their prime. I grew up in a time when bands older than 5 years were called dinosaurs and the Stones were fossils after 10. I can remember when Priest was a 2nd rate band and Rob Halford was mocked for driving his bike off the stage…
