What are some examples of shows which are generally good, but have some very unfunny running gags that they keep trying to make a thing?
I have been watching Parks and Recreation for the first time and while I enjoy it for the most part, it has two recurring gags that are simply not funny at all: April (and sometimes Ben) looking at the camera and the bullying of Jerry. They weren't really ever funny yet after 5 seasons they still persist with them.
I can't think of any other examples in other shows off the top of my head.

The 'Why'd you do it?' in Frasier got a little old after a while.

That sounds like pure Office. I can't think of a ton of examples off the top of by head, except for the "Gilly" sketch on SNL. Or basically anything related to Phoebe in Friends.
