Dogs or cats? so that if anyone votes... nobody will know who voted for what.
In case, anyone for example thinks we could do without dogs but doesn't want anyone here to know that .

To me, the term "...do without," suggests a dislike. That doesn't apply to either dogs, or cats. I don't currently have a pet, but I've had both in the past. I've enjoyed interacting with all of them.
I could "do without" ants ... indoors. Outdoors, they're fine.

Neither. I choose snakes, alligators, and sharks. They are my least fave types of animals ever.
