Basically, I decided that it isn't a thing I wanna do anymore.
The negatives that go with doing it outweigh the good. In other words, most of the time it is an unpleasant experience. But your mileage may vary.

On the subject of dreams, I was taking a medication called mirtazapine for awhile and it gave me some super vivid, often weird dreams. I kind of miss the experience

I usually don't now. My focus now is getting to sleep and STAYING asleep. When I do, they are usually set in a situation that is....not normal. They could be brought on by the Jalapeno flavoured potato chips that I have before as my nightcap. Who knows? Joker's Wilde

the bad ones are awful but the good ones allow me to meet and hug the people from my life who have passed and i wouldnt give that up…they are so real. i can feel hug, smell, hear, see, touch them … its amazing.

The problem with that is waking up. It's better to be relieved that it was just a dream than to be disappointed.
