I don't necessarily need to see anymore Fear Street, but if they're gonna do it I'm glad it's not gonna continue on in the previous mold. As mildly interesting as it was to disguise a series as a 'trilogy of movies,' it didn't fully work for a lot of reasons. I prefer this idea of just adapting a different book.

I feel like if they did one book instead of trying to link 3 stories it would be better. If they did a short season per book that could work too. But eh I guess we'll see. I generally liked the last trilogy. Except the Witch hunt saga. They really butchered what was a great set of books. Genuinely scary at the time to me.

I don't know those books, but witch one was pretty weak. I don't know about how it was adapted from the source, but I didn't think any of them evoked their time period very well, but that one was the least effective in that regard since it was such a distant period piece (and because you couldn't help but compare it to the recent movie that got it so right) and it laid the thematic stuff on VERY thick. But yeah, maybe doing just the one story will result in a better experience.
