Watched this for the first time. I really liked it. Altman has a great way of making a movie like this - in which not that much really happens - move with great fluidity.
I’ve only seen a few of his movies. I’m excited to make it through the majority of his massive filmography.

I really like it. Probably my favorite Altman movie.

My favorite Altmans are Long Goodbye, McCabe and Mrs Miller, 3 Women, and Gosford Park.

I've seen 30 of Altman's 35 features and I'd rate this as his best with the possible exception of Short Cuts. Clever satire and arguably the best example of "the movie they're making in the movie is the movie you're watching"

I like this movie. I also enjoyed the book 'The Player' (1988) by Michael Tolkin.
