Interesting concept with some nice moments of absurdity and a cool aesthetic, but unfortunately in the end it just comes off like an extended series of comic sketches
Anyone else seen this. Thoughts?

It's definitely bizarre. I can't remember how well it stuck the landing, but I like the overall idea of poking at the hidden jungle aspects of otherwise complacent suburban existence. It's been a few years now, but that was my takeaway; it's a jungle no more safe or sane than any other setting. I remember lots of gritting teeth and pained smiles, and that it was essentially a nightmare camouflaged in unrelenting brightness. I liked it for its ambition. Not sure if she (the writer/director who's also the star) has done anything since though.

Definitely liked the concept, just think there was something wrong with the execution. Not sure, maybe if it had been less episodic or wasn't trying so hard to be funny all the time it may have worked a little better and felt more like fully fleshed out "film". One of the two writer/director/stars has made a short documentary since
