Some interesting sound design and cinematography but overall found it, no pun intended, lacking any real interest.

I like the scene where they do menial household stuff while gunshots and screams are heard in the background.
But yeah, it's a fantastic experimental short (30-45 minutes maybe) that had no business being feature length. I also can't help but wonder if it got a boost at the Oscars because of Israel/Palestine. It absolutely deserved the Sound win, but the Oscars don't usually go for abstract arthouse stuff like this in Picture and Director. Son of Saul only got a Foreign Film nod, in a much shittier year.
