I for Abigail tomorrow while using $5 Fandango reward I have. For some reason, the Fandango app only shows the early showtimes for all the movies playing at my theater but none of the later showtimes, which is what I need. The app shows zero showtimes for any movie on Monday, shows only very early showtimes for movies on Tuesday, and shows only a couple showtimes per movie for Wednesday, which is as far as I looked. If I look on the atom tickets app or the AMC app, I see that all those days are full of showtimes for all those movies. I looked on the Fandango website, and it's the same as the app, with all the missing showtimes. I called Fandango customer service, but the lady with a thick accent who answered just told me what I already knew, that the showtimes I saw on the app are the only times they have listed, but she couldn't tell me why. I'll probably end up buying the tickets on the AMC app, but this will mean that I can't use my $5 Fandango reward, which expires soon, towards the tickets.
Update: One thing I forgot to add was that the Fandango customer service lady told me to call my local theater if there are problems with the showtimes. So, I just did that, but they told me the problem would have nothing to do with them but with fandango, so I had to get in contact with Fandango to find out what the problem was. You see the problem: Fandango said to call the threater, and the theater said to call Fandango. The Fandango site use to have a live help option, but it doesn't appear to be working, and the contact form I filled out says to allow 72 hours for a response, which obviously doesn't help me for tomorrow.
Update #2: Fandango finally seems to have their act together, and the app now sells the correct times.

I’ve never used Fandango. I always just go straight to the theater site, whether AMC or Cinemark.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a positive comment on Fandango.

And the free ticket thing is pretty much worthless because the "convenience fees" add up well beyond the price of a ticket, especially with most theaters having a $5 day.

Since I'm an AMC Stubs Premiere member, so commence fees are always waived. Honestly, if you watch a lot of movies, the waived fees pay for the $15 membership pretty quickly, plus you get a $5 reward for every dollar to spend. Add that to the $5 Fandango reward for every four tickets you buy on their app, and you can save a pretty penny.
