David Spade tries his hand at being a lead in this comedy. Any of you ever seen this movie? I remember watching it on HBO many years ago and, while not anything great or hilarious, didn't find it to be that bad. There are worse ways (as well as better) to kill 90 minutes. I remember Spade's character had a friend who tried to look exactly like him by copying his hair, clothes, lifestyle, etc. if I'm not mistaken. Same with Martin Sheen appearing (probably for a quick paycheck) and some music number involving Neil Diamond music. From the director of the famous 1990's comedy "Booty Call". Leonard Maltin Movie Guide Review: Lost & Found (1999) - 1.5 out of 4 stars
"Spade plots to win his beautiful new neighbor's affections while they search for her missing dog--which he has kidnapped. Crude, offensive, unoriginal, often painful to watch; only redeeming feature is an engaging Marceau. Fundamental error: her "slimy" ex-boyfriend is more likable than the leading man. Spade also takes credit as cowriter."
