Wow, a bit over 24 hours and no draft talk.
So what to you want your team to do? Simple for the Bills, they have to draft a WR, at least one. The $64 question is, will there be an elite one left at #28 or will the Bills trade up?

It's shaping up to be an interesting draft. Lots of skill position players, weak OL and edge rush classes compared to most years and those are positions that usually go high. Should see a decent amount of trades. Gonna be fun to watch! As for my Cowboys, they have multiple needs. OL, DL, and LB mainly and they pick towards the end of the round so I'm hopeful a good OL is there but if not, best available at any 3 of those positions. Gonna need a RB or 2 somewhere in this draft as well.

The Giants are apparently tying to trade up for a quarterback. Fine, I guess... whoever they get (reportedly Drake May, who I don't really know anything about) is just gonna get beaten to hell behind their horrific offensive line with no receiving targets and now no running back.
They're gonna be bad for a long time. When they start winning again I'm sure it'll be with a GM and Coach that are not on staff right now.

To get Maye, they'd likely be trading with the Pats, who have already demanded a major haul in return for the #3 pick. I don't know if Maye is worth it.

I certainly don't know if he's worth it, but apparently the Giants would be competing with the Vikings who might be more desperate than they are. I also just saw that 'sources' are saying that they're determined to take a QB either way, so if that trade is not there they'd be willing to draft one at their 6th pick, assuming that he's still there, by taking Michael Penis Jr.

One rumor I seen that the Patriots are set on their QB at #3. And that QB is Michael Penix. A lot of talk about Penix shooting up the draft boards. So much so that the Raiders were talking with Washington to get #2 but they want the Moon for that pick (and not Warren or Keith).

It certainly seems that others teams are valuing him below at least one other QB.

So replace the last QB you drafted from a basketball school with another??? Makes sense.

Draft night Thursday and Friday are my favorite sports nights of the year. Got my dinner feast planned and ready to go. Just hoping my health is good enough for two nights to actually enjoy it.
The top ten this year and even the 3 QB needy teams just outside the top ten are going to make it interesting. Caleb is a lock at #1. Does Washington take Daniels at #2 despite his reluctance to wanna play there recently? He wants to play for the Raiders but do the Raiders have the capital to make that happen? Vikings are flat out desperate for a QB with the Houston trade foreshadowing a move. It would be hilarious to me if they somehow miss out. Denver might move up but they have no 2nd round pick so they would have to include players. Does a 1st this year a 1st next year plus like Patrick Surtain Jr get a deal done? Do the Jets do the logical thing and draft an OL at ten or trade down? Or do they take a TE at 10 already making him a top paid player at his position on his rookie contract alone? Are all of the top ten picks offensive players? While there are good defensive players in this draft there aren't any tier 1 level ones apparently. Decent pass rushers but only #2 options according to scouts. Good but not great corner draft. Shit linebacker and safety draft.
In regards to what I want the Packers to do. To take a phrase from Draft Day, "Cooper DeJean no matter what." They got the draft capital to trade up if need be. He is exactly the player they need in this new defense. That said, he has been such a popular mock draft choice for GB I get the feeling it won't happen.

Daniel Jones has all of the tools to be a good NFL quarterback, but they fucked it up with him. I have no faith that whoever comes in next will have a better shot.

Giants are just going to be a revolving door of stop overs and dregs that nobody else wants for awhile. They had one good season amongst a pile of shit, and now they are right back in purgatory for a few more years.
That's been their shtick for decades. Mediocrity to flat out suck, then 1 amazing season, then back down the ladder they go!

Simple for me, some beers and I order wings from my son's favorite wing joint and we sit and watch and predict. Love the draft!

Just ironic that they'd go from 1 Duke QB wirth great measurables but so so tape to another. I agree they completely screwed up Jones who definitely showed potential. Not just talking trash as a Dallas fan, but any rookie QB that goes there is gonna struggle, at least initially. Shit OL, weak WR corp, an always injured TE, and no RB1 on the roster. Tough to succeed with that combo.

Growing speculation that JJ McCarthy has jumped Drake Maye. For some reason there is a Drake Maye/Jordan Love comparison going around that Maye needs to sit for a few years before playing.
Just speculation but there are concerns that Robert Kraft is a bit too hands on in regards to the #3 pick and that he might think going the Michigan route like Brady is the right way to go instead of Maye. If they screw this up I'm curious as to how they find a way to blame it on Belichick.

He wants to play for the Raiders and is saying that Vegas might be the only place he's happy. But the Raiders aren't going to mortgage the future for Daniels when they like Michael Penix nearly as well. And the track record for QB's acting the ass before the draft isn't rosy. Ryan Leaf, Johnny Manziel, JaMarcus Russell all the way back to Art Schlichter

I dont recall, what was going on with Russell pre-draft? I know he was a huge bust but I dont remember any stories coming out about character concerns.

He was outed as a player who only cared about his paycheck and not about football. Many thought he would be a clubhouse cancer. And he weight after his holdout
