Happened to me the other day.
I once went three days without eating anything, but it's more because I was extremely depressed and not hungry, as opposed to "forgetting". Otherwise it's more like I need to remind myself to stop eating. I do it when I'm bored, happy, sad, etc. Btw, am I on your ignore list?

All the time.
I don’t know if it’s a lasting effect from a lifetime of having an eating disorder, but missing meals comes very easy to me. For the last few years I’ve aimed to have one meal a day, but even managing that is a struggle for me more often than not. And a lot of the time, I honestly just forget.

If you miss a meal, just move on to the next one as if you didn't miss it. You can also have another meal later to compensate for the missed meal.
