American movie from either the 90s or early 00s there a boy visits the White House with his school class, walks on his own and ends up in the Oval Office there he meets the president. They became friends and very soon the president made the boy his advisor. However, the president's staff didn't like that so the president didn't give credit to the boy for the proposals that were good.

Hhmm, as I recall it was a younger boy that actually met the president. But it was a very long time ago I watched it.
