Or something along the line of a first force user? Disney is obviously going to keep making Star Wars films untill they're no longer profitable, so why not experiment with the franchise.

Why not I suppose. That would make more sense from a storytelling standpoint than a young Han Solo movie. The potential lack of any recognizable Star Wars characters might be a problem for Disney though.

They could always include a droid as a comic relief, the general audience like cute/funny droids. Plus its a good opportunity to introduce new characters, which gives them more merchandise.

Seriously Disney considering a jabba the Hutt movie, but not something like this? A Star Wars crime movie like Goodfellas or Casino is very intriguing to me. I see a lot of potential with a movie that would fallow the creation/rise of the Hutt crime syndicate. I do doubt they could pull it off with anything other than an R rating and fully do it justice though.

Seriously Disney considering a jabba the Hutt movie, but not something like this? They will milk the Lucas-created stuff for as long as they can, then when they run out of material, they'll start trying to make their own, fully original stories. So expect at least a decade of Lucas/Kasdan knockoff stuff.

Personally I would LOVE to see that (I've even written the script already LOL), but we're not there yet. Its clear that Kennedy wants to play things close to the vest and keep it OT era for now. But, in the future, who knows?

Honestly I'd like a KOTOR trilogy after episode 9.
