So once again, Singer shows he sees the other X-Men as mere satellites to Xavier. A character who ran his course back in the 80s. These movies are about the foundation of the X-Men. So of course Xavier is going to be at the heart of the story.

Oh and didn't run his course in 80s. Remember Onslaught? He did. Onslaught wasn't even that good a story. We got a being that was the fusion of Xavier and Magneto, and he ends up just being some generic "Destroy the world!" guy.

I've enjoyed the "X-Men" films. Altleast 2 of them, "X2" and "Days of Future Past," are great films. Most of the rest are good or very good. That's a pretty good track record IMO.

'Apocalypse' was the first X-Men movie that disappointed me. I even enjoyed the third one. Solo X-Men movies don't interest me all that much, but I suppose I'll at least give 'Logan' a shot.

That's not just my own subjective opinion, that's an opinion shared by a number of critics, comicbook fans and general viewing audiences. I never said they don't make good movies (though I could definitely argue that point), I said they don't make good X-men movies. Take for example X2. I consider that a good movie, not a good X-men movie. It focused pretty much on Wolverine and Xavier, and bit of Magneto. Everyone else was relegated to the sidelines. The X-men isn't just comprised of 1 or 2 individuals, the X-men is a team. So for you to make a good X-men movie, you need to be able to create a good team movie. The closest they got to that was First Class, maybe DOFP. Everything else has pretty much been focused on individuals and you never really feel like it's a team movie. Here's a question for you: Can you honestly say that these X-men movies handled majority of the characters properly? And Nightcrawler, Storm, Jean, Iceman, Rogue, and Pyro. Its seems like you have rewatched that movie in a long time. First Class and DOFP focused on a few characters. Apocayplse like X2 also focused on several characters like Xavier, Magneto, Mystique, Jean, Cyclops, and Beast. Oh I watched them alright, and all of those other characters were treated as side characters (except for Rogue). Don't believe me? Go ask a number of your friends who watched the movies but aren't familiar with the comics or cartoons. Ask them if they know who Nightcrawler or Iceman or Pyro or Beast is. Bet you they'll have no idea. Most probably won't know Storm or Rogue or Jean Grey either even though they're some of the more well known X-men characters. But ask them who Wolverine, Professor Xavier or Magneto is and they'll know who they are. That's how unbalanced those X-men movies were.

People have known who Iceman is for decades. Remember Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends? And everyone knows who Nightcrawler is because of the famous house scene.

I'm guessing you didn't actually try out the experiment I ask eh? Like I said, go find some people who've never read X-men comics or watch their cartoons but have watched the movies, then ask them if they know who Iceman or Pyro or Nightcrawler is. As for having more screentime than Rogue, Rogue was a central figure in the first X-men movie. They might have had more screentime accumulated in multiple movies but I doubt any of them have as much screentime in a single movie as Rogue did in the first.
