Anyone watching this show? I find Christmas to be a strong early player, and the HGs were extremely dumb to not get rid of her instead of the Microbiologist guy.

Yes, let's please keep a running discussion about this great show! Here's my take on a few of the houseguests:
Josh: Three words - annoying, annoying, annoying. If this is the first time he's ever left the comfort of his home he chose the wrong venue! Man it up!
Kevin: Probably the best over-50 player in a long time and I hope he goes far.
Cody: Scary eyes, thinks way too much of himself, don't see him in the house much longer.
Megan: At first I thought Josh was nuts when he called her out but her recent behavior solidified it. I'm sorry she has personal issues and hope she's taking care of herself.
Matt: Silver haired guy who's probably said only five words since he's been in the house, hope he's playing the game.
Jennifer: Early favorite, hope she goes far!
Paul: Another favorite and producers seem to want him to go far. We'll see how that goes.
How are you enjoying this season?

Gillian - Poor girl went home tonight! So sad! Cody reminds me of Tom Cruise - same dead eyes and psycho demeanor Josh - total weirdo. He seems like the type to flip out and go on a violent rampage out of the blue. Big clunky goon who is way too old to have a "I miss hooome" tantrum. Kevin - that man just exudes "cool." He has lots of style and class and reminds me of Evel Dick except..not evil. Matt is a silver fox but might be very calculating beneath the surface. Ramses is a cool kid and I find it suspicious that of all the HGs he was given the worst handicap. Elena - She annoys me!! Very fake. Cody's GF - hard to imagine she's suddenly upset with him when they've been hooking up nonstop for days. African-American girl - Seems nice, hasn't really shown much so far.

Cody seems to be the prototypical hoo-rah marine with PTSD and an anger problem. Ramses was chosen at random to be given a handicap. If u remember, Paul pushed/chose bottle #2 when he took the temptation and Ramses just happened to be the 2nd person to go into the room (thats how it was decided who was going to be the person with the handicap)...

Cody: Scary eyes, thinks way too much of himself, don't see him in the house much longer. Jennifer: Early favorite, hope she goes far! Cody is actually one of, if not the best player in the game, he is the best at competitions and his move to get rid of Paul was the right one, he is just unlucky becuz Big Brother has decided to go overboard with this 'twist' nonsense and make it too much about luck ...I dont mind it since it brings more entertainment, which is their intent, but in terms of evaluating the game with luck pushed aside, he is clearly one of the better players, he just got unlucky. Jennifer is a hanger-on, she is using her looks (Which are not even that great) to carry her... I dont see how she is an early favorite considering those players usually phase out once their 'man' leaves the house.

Just goes to show u that u shudnt just automatically assume sum1 with an 'intelligent' job is actually intelligent.

Great idea to get rid of Paul but so soon? What was he thinking? And not telling the other housemates? He'll go down in history as one of the worst.

Ramses was ultra STUPID to play his curse this week. He unnecessarily put himself in crossfire that had nothing to do with him. I'm kind of hoping he ends up going home just for dumb game play. You can't be a real BB superfan and not know how to lay low when there's lots of angry energy in the house. DUMB move on his part.

He put himself up because he thought that Cody and Jessica would be nominated. If he were a real superfan he should have known that there'd be the possibility of putting up two pawns. Not sure what type of superfan he is. What does that even mean? I've watched every season since it began - does that make me a superfan too?

I think the difference is that the sort of superfan he is refers to someone who actually tries out for the show and made it on. That's the only thing he has over you. I think his major mistake was throwing himself at the mercy of Cody who is a paranoid freak. He should've realize that making an alliance with Paul was the thing to do & he would've gotten clued in on their plan.

I just think he has a lot of enthusiasm for the show but isn't particularly skilled in the strategy department.

And the sad thing for Ramses is that Paul was elevating him and saying that he was a quiet threat so even Paul might have stuck a knife in his back eventually and now that he has thrown a monkey wrench in his master plan to back door Cody, Ramses is making himself more of a target if he survives the next eviction.

Yup, craziness all around. Ramses should have kept mum and waited to see how this week played out.

What show are u two watching?.. he was smart in playing the curse, he had to play his curse at some point and he did it this week becuz he knew he had no shot of being voted out becuz Paul and the house were going after Cody this week. The reason Cody didnt get nominated initially is becuz Paul wanted to backdoor him and not give him a chance at playing the veto comp. The stupid part about Ramses was- A: not telling Paul beforehand what he was going to do and B: not throwing the challenge like Paul asked him to....he tried to win even tho Paul asked him to throw it, that is what unnecessarily put a target on his back. If he had followed Paul's plan, it wud have worked out perfectly, Cody goes home, Ramses gets rid of his curse and he has no target on his back.I see ur point in that the house was thrown off and somewhat mad when he unexpectedly decided to use it this week, but no matter when he used it, this week, next week, or the week after, that was going to be the case. (since every week sum1 is targeted and him throwing himself in would throw somewhat of a wrench in a plan regardless). MiketheMechanic

A real 'superfan' would have laid low and thought it over more carefully when to use the curse. He did the opposite. And on top of that, not only did he not throw the challenge but then lied about it! He just seems like an eager fan who wants to have fun and play but his recent move may cost him the game.

Why wud u wait to use it for another week and risk actually going home? #2 ur acting as if getting a curse put on him is a good thing...then I would agree, but it was a negative thing, something that was put on him because of sum1 else, so people didnt hate him for using it. They were ok with it, albeit a little peeved since it threw a wrench in their plans initially. The problem was not that he used it, it was that he didnt throw the challenge and lied about it (those are the parts that were dumb).

It may have been the 'best' week for him because of Cody but as mentioned earlier he should have thought it out more thoroughly. I don't even think he thought about Cody being backdoored, probably thought that Cody would be nominated right away. He's a flipper who can't even keep his story straight. Just before the POV he mentioned to Paul that he promised his family that he wouldn't throw comps but it came across as awfully weak. Even if it's true why didn't he mention it from the first conversation? So he puts himself up for nomination and then makes the dumbest mistake by not throwing a comp that he told others he would throw. Such an idiotic gameplay, makes Cody seem like Einstein in comparison.
